An Post issued a stamp in recognition of the children’s charity, Barnardos Ireland.
Barnardos was founded by Thomas Barnardo, who was born in Dame Street, Dublin. At the age of 16, he decided to become a medical missionary in China, and went to London to train as a doctor.

Australia Post charity stamp to support the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre

Australia Post Managing Director and CEO Ahmed Fahour announced the release of a charity stamp sheetlet to raise funds for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre – a new cancer research and treatment centre at the Austin Hospital, Melbourne.
