Over four years, this series will showcase 16 classic cars which are registered in Luxembourg and motor across Europe to participate in events promoting classic cars. Ireland Issued a Commemorative Stamp to Mark 50 Years Since the Death of Brendan Behan!

Brendan Behan (1923 –1964) was an Irish poet, short story writer, novelist and playwright who wrote in both English and Irish. He was born in Dublin’s inner city into a republican family where there was a strong emphasis on Irish history and culture, which meant he was steeped in literature and patriotic ballads from a young age. Denmark’s New Stamp Issue of the Battle of Dybbøl in 1864!

Twenty thousand Prussian soldiers stormed the Danish defences at Sønderborg, and three months later the country had lost almost half of its territory with the population of the Kingdom of Denmark being reduced by a million. Switzerland Post has become the latest country to join the list of stamp issuing administrations that sell their stamps directly to collectors on WOPA-Stamps.com

Malacanan Palace 150 Years Sesquicentennial

The official residence of the President of the Philippines is Malacañan Palace, situated in the old Manila district of San Miguel.
The first recorded owner of the property is Luis Rocha, a Spaniard in the Galleon trade. The Rocha property was built of stone, described as being a relatively modest country house.
