The Juventus Football Club is the winner team of the Italian Soccer Championship 2013-2014. The team gained the third consecutive shield ahead of time and achieved a similar result only in the 1930s. Antonio Conte, football coach and former midfield player, led the team to a crushing victory. On the 18th May, last day of the Championship, Juventus set the record of the points in the table sport: 102, a record which has never been reached in the Serie A. The second record is 19 wins in 19 home matches.

May 1st 1994, 2.17 p.m.. At the San Marino Grand Prix, on the Imola circuit, Ayrton Senna starts the 7th lap, in first position. All of a sudden the steering column of his Williams breaks and the car crashes into the Tamburello turn, at 240km/h. At 6.40 p.m. Ayrton Senna dies at the hospital in Bologna. He was 34 years old (born in 1960). He raced in 161 Grand Prix, 41 victories, 65 pole positions, 19 fastest laps and 610 valid points. (read more)

Ratified by the Great and General Council during the session of the 23rd October 2013, ”the European Charter of Local Self-Government” has come into effect since the 1st February 2014. The Republic of San Marino completed the way towards a greater improvement of the Giunte di Castello (Councils of Castles). (read more)

The Special Sports Federation of San Marino has 30 years’ activity to its credit. The aim of the Federation is the human, social and sport integration of many disabled athletes and this means agonistic competitions and ability to strike up empathic relations. (read more)
