The Greenlandic legend about Kaassassuk (The Orphan) was published as a comic a few years ago.
It was designed by the young Christian Fleischer Rex from Nuuk. This stamp featuring Kaassassuk will represent the third and last part of POST Greenland’s stamp series on Greenlandic comics. This will be Christian Fleischer Rex’s first stamp for POST Greenland.

Self-adhesive Camping stamps issued by Denmark

Self-adhesive stamp with a motif drawn from Denmark’s marvellous camping life.

The stamps in the ‘Camping Life’ series in the values DKK 6.00 and DKK 8.00 are the result of a competition among students at the Danish Design School. Thirty-five students each submitted two stamp designs. A unanimous jury chose Marie Sølyst’s designs as the winners, because they are simultaneously “retro” and modern, and possess a gentle humour that pleases the viewer.
