The stamps of the first miniature sheet feature the panel of the main altar of the Cathedral of Saint Martin in Spišskà Kapitula, Slovakia, which used to be part of historic Hungary.

Hungary and Azerbaijan release a joint issue featuring a peacock!!

Magyar Posta and Azermarka are presenting the peacock motif often used in the applied folk art of both countries on a joint miniature sheet. Cross stitch embroidery from Transdanubia is featured on a light background on one of the stamps of the miniature sheet, and a detail from a horse blanket from the Caucasus is shown on the other.

In June, Magyar Posta is publishing two new stamps on the subject of rail transport. On the 50thanniversary of their entry into service, Hungarian State Railways’ V43 Szili electric locomotive and M61 “Nohab” diesel-electric locomotive have appeared on stamps.
