Augustus Earle was born on 1 June 1793 in London, son of James Earle, an American artist and his wife Caroline. Augustus was the nephew of Ralph Earle, the well-known American portrait painter. 100 Years Herdbook of the Estonian Native Breed Cattle!

More than a hundred years ago breeders of Estonian country breed cattle realized that good production results could only be expected if it was possible to make a choice among the animals. For this it was necessary to record the origination, appearance and production data of the animals. As a result breeders started to document production data, instituting the Herdbook. (read more)

The National Team in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil Issued by Portugal Post!

It was on December 18th, 1921, that the National Football Team held its first official match. It was against Spain and took place in Madrid. We lost 3-1, but the result was considered by the Portuguese media as being “very honourable”. The new Club House for the Yacht Club of Monaco will be inaugurated on 20 June. The building was designed by famous architect Lord Norman Foster’s firm. Conceived to be both aesthetically pleasing and at the cutting edge of technology, it was constructed to Haute Qualité Environnementale (HQE®, High Environmental Quality) standards. The building is a superb showcase for the Monaco of the third millennium, and consolidates the Principality’s position as the yachting capital of the world.

His Royal Highness, the Prince Consort, Henrik, Prince of Denmark, is the husband of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark.

Prince Henrik was born on 11 June 1934 in Talence, Gironde in France. His birth name is Henri Marie Jean André, Count de Laborde de Monpezat. His parents were the Count André de Laborde de Monpezat and his wife Renée de Monpezat (born Doursennot). (read more)
