Canada Post is busy processing and delivering more than one billion pieces of mail, including millions of gifts to friends and loved ones. Unfortunately, this can create increased opportunities for fraudulent activities by Grinch Spammers looking to mislead people awaiting packages.
Canada Post advises customers to be wary of any emails they receive from senders claiming to be delivery companies, particularly those that invite customers to click on a link to obtain information about an apparent missed delivery. Do not provide any personal information if prompted to do so by these emails.

Australia Post is alerting customers to an unsolicited phone call scam which claims that a parcel could not be delivered to the recipient and that redelivery can be arranged after a payment is made.
The scammer may present themselves as an employee of Australia Post or staff member from one of our retail outlets. The scammer will provide a reason as to why delivery has failed (e.g. parcel too large) and advise that with a payment, delivery can occur.
Australia Post will never call customers to request payment for an undeliverable mail item.
