Lithuania Post released Postage Stamps dedicated to the National Minorities of Lithuania, two Stamps will be Released to Honour the Karaites!

Irma Balakauskaitė, the artist and the author of the new stamps, has used one stamp to depict Seraya Szapszal, a world famous orientalist and founder of the Karaites Museum. Another one features Vilnius Kenesa, the temple of the Karaim people. The both stamps issued in the edition of 40 thousand copies with a nominal value of LTL 2.15. (read more)

Lithuania Post released a Postage Stamp Dedicated to the Baltic Sea!

Lithuania Post Released 2 New Postage Stamps for the Series of Europa!

On the first Saturday of May, Lithuania Post will release 2 new postage stamps from the series Europe. This time the stamps of majority European countries will feature traditional national instruments. The Lithuanian stamps will be issued to commemorate wooden bells skrabalai, reed-pipe birbynė, goat-horn ožragis, and plucked string musical instrument kanklės. (read more)

To Mark the 10th anniversary of membership in the European Union, Lithuania Post will issue a new postage stamp!

The new stamp will be issued in the edition of 80 thousand copies with a nominal value of LTL 2.15. The stamp has been created by the artist Rūta Kajackaitė. The stamp features the EU flag – 12 stars in a circle on a blue background. The stars symbolize the ideals of unity, solidarity and harmony among the peoples of Europe. (read more)

Postage Stamps from the Series The Red Book of Lithuania will be Supplemented by Two New Postage Stamps Dedicated to Endangered Birds, Namely the Barn Owl!
