Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, the World Festival of Amateur Theatre has been hosted by the Studio de Monaco every 4 years since 1957.

Since its creation, the World Festival of Amateur Theatre has extended its scope, developing seminars and workshops alongside the performances by various groups, presenting their theatrical practices. The 15^th festival will take place from 19^th to 28^th August.
