The 12th National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China was held in Beijing on March 5, 2013.

This congress was a big political event for the Chinese people, a grand conference to hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, to fully implement the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and to strive to complete the building of a moderately prosperous society in all aspects.
