Artist Valentin Carron from Canton Valais will be representing Switzerland at the 2013 Venice Art Biennale.

His work is at once fascinating and unsettling because he uses wit and irony to challenge tradition and cultural identity. Now Swiss Post has commissioned him to design a new stamp especially for the Biennale.
