VN:F [1.9.1_1087]
Rating: 3.9/5

On the ninth kilometer of the old road Foca – Miljevina – Sarajevo, in Pirni Do, there are Sandy pyramids.
Soil erosion, a long series of years, was created as a result of aggressive loop frosts, summer eat, rain and strong winds. Sculpted figure of interesting shapes are similar to those in Colorado (USA), Dolomites (Italy) and Devil’s Town (Serbia).

Striated sand pillars rising from its foundations broad and tapering towards the top, and an outstanding geomorphological rarity in these parts. This erosion continues today, so they

do not disappear, but on the contrary, increase. Pyramids are a masterpiece of nature.

By writing a traveler and geographer Dragutin Derok thesis is that these ancient pyramids were over two hundred years old. In fact, during his first visit to the pyramids in 1936th in conversation with the locals came to the conclusion that the pyramids are of the “since they remember” and that the knowledge of them were received from their ancestors.
