“San Marino Cepu Open” is a yearly ATP championship. From 1989 to 2000 it was part of the International Series category but from 2001 it has been replaced by Sopot championship. Nowadays it participates to Challenger. In the roll of honour there are many famous names.

Among them Paolo Canè from Bologna who won the first edition, then the Argentine Guillermo Perez Roldan and Jose Acasuso, the Austrian Thomas Muster, the Spanish Sergi Bruguera and in the last years the Italian Andreas Seppi, Filippo Volandri and Potito Starace.

The Championship is now at its 25th edition and the event is more and more an example of prosperous union of sport and tourism. A properly San Marino kermes, staff and companies from San Marino.
