West-Harju Folk Costumes. Nissi- Stamp issue

The stamps feature women of Hageri and Nissi Parishes in late 19th century dress. In that period, most Harju County men already wore city clothes. Checkered skirts, as well as dresses and jackets, then made their way into women’s attire.

Philippine Postal coroporation- Stamp issue

The Philippine Postal Corporation or Korporasyong Koreo ng Pilipinas (Philpost) is a government – owned and controlled corporation responsible for providing postal services in the Philippines.
The Philpost building existed since 1926; one of the grandest buildings of its time. It is now viewed as a national historical treasure. The main entrance faces the Liwasang Bonifacio (popularly known as Plaza Lawton) in Manila, Philippines and overlooks the Pasig River. It houses the main mail sorting-distribution operations.

Medical Doctors- Stamp issue

This stamp issue honours five remarkable clinicians who have contributed to making our health system one of the best in the world.
Dr Jane (Jean) Stocks Greig (1872-1939) was a public health specialist. In 1896, with her sister Janet, she founded Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Hospital. She helped improve the health and dental standards of Victorian school children and her administrative positions included membership of the secretariat of the Victorian Baby Health Centres Association and the Council of Public Education.

The design shows, in the foreground, the characteristic bottle recognised as the official container of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, with the PDO label at the bottom on the left in the background, a series of barrels used for aging the vinegar. Magnificent Joint Stamp Issue between CHINA- ISRAEL

Beijing Tuesday March 20, 2012. China Post Group hosted a grand ceremony to launch the Joint Stamp Issue between Israel and China.
The ceremony was held at the China National Museum in Tianmen Square and attended by members of the Chinese and Israeli government officials and close to 1,000 VIP’s, stamp enthusiasts from around China, members of the press andhonored guests of China and Israel Post.
Unveiling the joint stamp issue was the Honorable Mr. Li Guohua, President of China Post Group, Honorable Mr. Sasi Shilo, Chairman of Israel Post, Chaim Elmoznino, President and CEO of Israel Post, Madam Dana Benvenisti, Minister, Israel Division of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Yaron Razon, Director of Israel Philatelic Service and Mr. Yossi Malamud, Executive Vice President of IGPC, and President of IGPC-China, the official agent of Israel Post in China. Isle of Man Lighthouse Stamps

The Isle of Man Post Office is pleased to present Harbour Lights, a set of six stamps depicting minor lighthouses around the Isle of Man. We commissioned local artist Tracey Dean to prepare new paintings which truly capture the elegance of the familiar landmarks.
Local historian Stan Basnett writes:
The principal Lighthouses around the Isle of Man are maintained by the Commissioners of Northern Lights and are not the only lighthouses around the Island. Each harbour being protected by minor lights erected on the extremities of piers and breakwaters many of which are also being fitted with an audible device such as a horn or bell for use in fog.
