NEW World Cup stamps
Finally World Cup fever is now in full force with the opening match being as exciting as everyone expected to be. Millions of people are now tuned to their TV’s around the globe watching the most exciting sporting event of the year. The first 2010 World Cup goal was scored by the home nation, South Africa in a historic match with the final result ending at 1 – 1
As predicted in our earlier posts, many countries will start issuing World Cup stamps during these two weeks and Croatia is the latest to do so…
The stamp has been issued in a 9-stamp sheetlet with one label, and there is also a special design cover without stamp. Despite having issued a beautiful World Cup stamp which deserves the adoration of all football lovers, the Croatian national football team has failed to qualify for World Cup 2010. Many observers have explained that Croatia had too many injuries and bad luck, but unfortunately in the end, the result does not change
